In the Army National Guard Health care specialist career field, not only do you get your national certificate as a registered EMT, we pay you full time salary while getting the training. That is right; during your ten week initial entry training and your 17 week medical training you will get paid a minimum of $1467 a month. That adds up to $9,902 paid to you for getting certified as an EMT. Ask the local college to pay you that much for attending their classes.
